Get a piece of paper, it must be usually of A4 size. Regular print paper would the best option for this task.
Fold the paper in half. Please make sure the paper is fold very perfectly.
Now, take the folded portion and With the ‘open’ edge at the bottom, fold the corners down to meet in the middle. We found it helped to ‘quarter’ the sheet lightly first, so we knew where to fold to.
Once the paper is folded from the corners, take one lip upward from one side. Once this is folded, the other lip also upward.
Once both the lips are folded upwards, you can open the shape up into a ‘Hat’ and fold it down in the other direction. Once you have folded, it must meet to each so that ends are now together.
Once the end meet each other, fold the corner at the bottom to top to form a diamond like shape and lie flat. you can now open up the shape into a square.
Do the same from the other side of the diamond. Now As before, open it up from the bottom and flatten it in the opposite direction.
Once both the corners are folded and loosen up, try to make it more loose. It will become like a pistachio shape. Grasp them and gently pull to give the shape like a boat. The boat will open up exactly like you expected. This way, you can make more such boats.
